Easy Reader
Easy Reader is for reading — a whole article, a short story, a book — page by page, with help on every word. It's the one place in Zollang where you bring a text just to read it, not to turn it into a lesson.

Bring a text
Open Easy Reader from the navigation and click "Import text".
- Paste a text, or upload a .txt file
- Import an article from a link — Zollang keeps the readable part of the page
- Or write a text with AI: describe what you'd like to read, choose a length, edit the result and import it (part of the paid plans)
- Long texts are welcome — Zollang splits them into pages and remembers where you stopped

Read with help on every word
The first time you open a page, Zollang prepares its word help.
- Tap any word to see what it means here and hear it pronounced
- Mark a word as known, or save it to your vocabulary
- "Study words" turns the current page's new words into flashcards — page by page, so a book never floods your review queue
- Your library shows every text with its progress; search and sort it, and filter by what you've finished

Hear the page
Every page can be read aloud — an opt-in, per page.
- Choose the Quality voice, a narrator with native pronunciation, or the Basic voice, a simpler voice at a lower price. Which voices are available depends on the language.
- The sentence being read is highlighted as it plays; tap a sentence to hear just that one, and change the speed as you like
- Generating audio for a page costs credits once; replaying it is free
What it costs
Importing a text is free. Reading and listening are charged separately.
- Free plan: a monthly allowance of reading pages — the first open of a page counts, reopening a page you've read doesn't. The exact figure is on the Credits & billing page.
- Paid plans: page opens are charged in credits, up to a small ceiling per page and usually less; reopening is always free
- Page audio and writing a text with AI are charged in credits on paid plans — the figures are on the Credits & billing page
