Vocabulary
Every lesson, podcast, video and text feeds one personal vocabulary. Zollang schedules its reviews with spaced repetition — each word comes back just before you'd forget it.
How it works
- 1After reviewing a word, rate how well you knew it: Forgot, Hard, Good or Easy.
- 2Your rating decides when the word comes back.
- 3Easy words get longer gaps; difficult words come back sooner.
- 4The gaps grow from days to weeks to months as you master a word.
Mastery levels
- A word you heard in a lesson, podcast, video or Easy Reader page counts as seen — it shows in your stats, but it's never due for review
- A word becomes learned when you choose it — by saving it, studying it in a session, or being graded on it — and from then on it comes back for review
- A word you mark as known is parked: it counts toward your coverage and never asks for a review

Typing
Type the word from its meaning — best for active recall and spelling.
Mark as known

Lists
Group words by topic, lesson or anything you like, and review a list on its own.
Tricky words
Words you keep getting wrong are flagged as tricky, and get their own door into Contextual review to fix them in fresh contexts.
