Credits are the currency for the features that use AI on Zollang. Here's how they work, what each plan includes, and how to get more.

Per batch of sentences when a lesson is first prepared; each new audio clip adds 2 credits. Reopening a prepared lesson is free.
Per page, the first time you generate it, with the Basic voice; the Quality voice starts at 60 credits. Replaying a page you've already generated is free.
Charged once, the first time you open a page — and usually less than this cap. Reopening a page you've read is free.
Spaced review, Exercises and pre-made lessons never cost credits
"From" amounts are the minimum balance needed to start; the final charge follows actual usage — lower for short content, higher for long. "Up to" amounts are a ceiling with no minimum.

Free accounts get one Speaking lesson, one YouTube lesson and one slow podcast to try, one short Conversation, plus vocabulary review, pre-made lessons and monthly allowances for Easy Reader pages and curated "How natives say it" lessons. Upgrade any time for higher limits and more features.
Your free Speaking lesson, YouTube lesson, podcast and Conversation are one-time — once you've used them, they don't come back. Easy Reader pages and curated "How natives say it" lessons refresh every month. Content limits (words, duration) vary by plan. Pre-made lessons are free and don't count toward these limits.
Paid plan benefits

Every plan also has a daily spending ceiling on AI features, in the background, so a runaway session can never empty your balance in a day.

Managing your subscription
- • Upgrade any time from Settings; on the web it's managed through the billing portal, in the app through your app store subscription
- • A downgrade takes effect at the end of your billing period
- • Unused credits roll over, up to twice your monthly allowance
- • Cancel any time — you keep access until the period ends
