Zollang supports a fixed set of languages to learn — you'll see the full, current list when you choose your learning language. Some languages are in beta, and some features, such as frequency lists, are richer for the most popular ones.

No. Zollang works in your browser — just visit zollang.com, create an account and start learning. There are also iOS and Android apps if you prefer to learn on your phone.

Use the contact form. You get a ticket reference by email, and you can follow the ticket's status on your Support page.

As much as you have. A Speaking lesson goes sentence by sentence, so you can stop and pick up where you left off. A slow podcast is made for a drive, and your words come back for review in short sessions when they're due.

A lesson has four parts. Study is the session: you hear each sentence, understand it piece by piece, say it yourself, and finish with a Recap. Read lets you read and listen to the whole text at your pace; Exercises holds what you missed plus practice for any sentence. Your new words go into spaced review, and you can talk about the lesson in Conversation whenever you like.

Turn on tap practice from the tile above the session. Every speaking step is answered by tapping instead, and the microphone never opens. You can also type a single answer with "Type instead".

A fresh scene Zollang writes from your own words — the ones due today, a list, a past lesson or your tricky words — with audio and a check at the end. Start one from the Context tab of your vocabulary.

When you review a word, you rate how well you remembered it. Words you find easy come back after longer gaps; words you struggle with come back sooner. Reviewing a word just before you'd forget it is what makes it stick.

If you already know a word, mark it as known. It leaves your review queue for good and still counts toward your frequency coverage.

Words you keep getting wrong in reviews. They're flagged so you can give them extra attention — Contextual review has a door just for them.

A little every day is ideal — it keeps your streak and your memory. The schedule is handled for you: just review what's due.

Credits are used whenever Zollang creates something for you: lessons, audio, Contextual review scenes, Conversation and coaching sessions, Easy Reader pages. Free accounts include one lesson of each kind to try; paid plans come with a monthly allowance.

Credits from your subscription roll over, up to twice your monthly allowance. Top-up credits never expire.

You can still open your lessons, read what you've imported, and review your vocabulary. Creating new lessons and the other AI features wait until you get more credits — through your renewal or a top-up.

Yes. Pre-made lessons are generated in advance by Zollang, so the AI work is already done. Starting one costs no credits and copies it to your library, up to your plan's limit.

The video needs captions in the language you're learning. If it has none, paste its transcript from YouTube — or pick another video, or create a Speaking lesson from the text instead.

Check that your browser allows audio autoplay; some block it by default. Make sure your device isn't muted, and refresh the page if it still doesn't play.

Not yet — Zollang needs an internet connection.

Yes. Your lessons, vocabulary and learning data are private to your account, and you can download a copy of them from Settings at any time. See our privacy policy for full details.
